Porcupine Tree, formed by Steven Wilson in 1987, is frequently associated with both psychedelic and progressive rock. Their music has been leaning towards progressive metal since the early 2000s. Lightbulb Sun is one of my favourite songs of all time and was published back in 2001. amazon

Fate sealed

Wrote final exam today despite serious sickness. It went reasonably well. I made a bet with myself about my grade. Quite a high goal, hopefully I can meet my expectations. We’ll see the actual results in 2 month.

How to move Outlook to the systray

In meiner Firma wird MS Outlook eingesetzt. Da E-Mail zu unseren wichtigsten Kommunikationsmitteln gehört, ist es üblich, Outlook permanent geöffnet zu halten.

Schon nach kurzer Zeit begann ich mich jedoch am verlorenen Platz in der Taskleiste zu stören. Viel lieber wäre es mir, würde stattdessen nur ein kleines Symbol im Systray angezeigt werden. Doch leider fand ich in Outlook dafür keine Einstellmöglichkeit. Was tun?

Mafu tankt

Wollte heute tanken. Fahr also wie gewohnt zur Tanke, bieg ein und sehe: Zwei Autos vor mir. Auf der Gegenbahn ist nur ein Auto, also fahre ich außen um die Tanke rum und will mich hinter das einzelne Auto stellen. Leider haben sich in der Zwischenzeit gleich zwei andere vor mir angestellt.

Hm, doof. Setze also zurück und fahre den gleichen Weg zurück, nur um zu erkennen wie sich die Verhältnisse erneut gedreht haben und ich wieder an der längeren Schlange anstehe. Angewandter Murphy, eh?

Ich wende und fahre wieder in die Gegenspur ein – und schon wieder tauchten plötzlich irgendwelche Autos auf die sich direkt vor mich stellen mussten. Wurde mir dann zu dumm, hab gedreht und bin ohne zu tanken weitergefahren. Kann ich auch morgen noch. Hoffentlich.
